Burlesque at The Slipper RooomIf you don't know where the party is on a Fridy night in the Lower East Side, then let me give you a hint. Half a dozen of New York sultriest, most charismatic ladies peeling off gloves and stockings to the sexy sounds of Burlesque.
The New York School of Burlesque presents its student showcase every Friday night at New York's world famous Slipper Room. If you want a nice divey NYC bar with good barstaff and a racey show, all for only five bucks, then this is the place to be.
This particular Friday was "Night Train" presented by Dr. Lucky and showcasing the gradutaing class of the New York School of Burlesque, and their final performance as students. Featured this evening were Agave Nectar, Atta Girl, Della Dare, It's a Little Stormy, Jenny C'est Quoi, Kita St.Cyr, Plum Manchego, Rosabel Salevy, The Girl Next Door, and Victoria Privates

Holly's and Dolly'sHoliday Gallery & Burlesque Party
We braved a blizzard to go out and see these ladies bare all for an adoring public. A night filled with live music, drinks, comedy, and the sexy thrills of striptease.
The Dolly Sisters hosted a great little shindig over the Crossroads Bar and Grille in Garwood New Jersey. The night kicked off with the musical sounds of The Tarantinos and while they warmed up the crowd the beautiful ladies of burlesque prepped themselves for this first-ever show for the Dolly Sisters. On the walls was the collective works of many of the group's photographers including a few select prints by yours truly.
MC for the evening was the dashing Senior Elegante and his epic mustache of doom. He kept the crowds satiated enough that they didn't tear the place apart demanding to see g-strings, bare butts, and twirling tassles. Kat Mon Dieu, Rosabelle Selavy, and Kita St. Cyr put on some epically burly performances while Dead Stars on Hollywood cooled down the crowd to avoid rioting.
Overall organizer Bella Berlin put together an insanely fun evening of half-naked ladies, loud music, awesome drinks, and raunchy fun. Thanks to her and the rest of Dolly Sisters for making such hot event possible on such a cold winter night.

The Dolly Sisters Pinup group hosted the Fireside Dollies and Candy Cane Cuties shootout. Bella Berlin was kind enough to invite me as a guest photographer for this awesome event
Shot at the lovely Kat Mon Dieu's apartment in Brooklyn and organized by Bella Berlin; the day was full of beautiful models, amazing wardrobe, and killer sets put together by none other than the Dolly Sisters themselves.
Featured here are (in order of appearance) Miss Rockett Girl, Kita St. Cyr, and Minie. Each one styled their hair and makeup while shooting on the great sets designed by Ms. Berlin.
Everyone had a great time, Kat and her husband Rizwan were just the best hosts anybody could ask for, and there were delicious snacks and drinks for everybody. For those of us close to the group there was Champagne, holiday cocktails, and of course no shoot would be complete without pizza.
A film crew was on hand creating a documentary covering the modern revival of the pinup. The models organizers were interviewed including yours truly, who made his best attempt not to make a fool of himself on camera. Look for clips from that documentary on this site in the near future.
